Massive Fire Breaks Out in Kavala’s Keramoti Region

A large fire erupted in the Keramoti area of Kavala on Monday afternoon (28/04/2025), burning dry grass and low vegetation. According to kavalapost, the fire started near Monastiraki and, due to strong winds in the region, spread southward toward the coastal zone of Keramoti in Kavala. The flames are visible from kilometers away, causing significant concern among local residents and nearby communities. Ten firefighters, supported by three fire trucks, are currently battling the blaze at the scene.
