Panic prevailed at a children’s event for New Year’s Eve in Peabody, where 10 people were injured when construction collapsed on a crowd. The unpleasant incident took place at In the Game located in Peabody, Massachusetts when a Lego construction retreated from the weight of balloons, attached to it and collapsed. CORVERSE Those injured are light and 8 out of 10 were taken to hospital in order to provide them with first aid. According to what has become known workers of In the Game they released balloons from a net on the roof resulting in the drift of a window Lego who was at a height of four meters inside the building and thus fall upon the crowd. CORVERSE An eyewitness who was at the venue of the event reported… “Big pieces Lego were scattered, children were crying, there were many people inside the room, some with ice on their heads and others who let their children steal pieces of Lego as souvenirs.” Authorities originally closed this site, but then again reopened.
