Funeral Service and Burial
The funeral service began at 10 a.m. at the small church of Saint Andrew inside the Athens Nursing Home — where Linda had lived since 2018. Her burial took place at Athens’ First Cemetery. From early morning, her daughter Evangelia was present at the church.

In keeping with the family’s wishes, no floral wreaths were accepted. Instead, donations were encouraged in her memory to the Athens Nursing Home — a symbolic act of gratitude and tangible support for the institution that cared for her with compassion during the final years of her life.
