Marialena Roumelioti Loses €2,000 in Phone Scam: ‘Don’t Trust Anyone’

Marialena Roumelioti and her brother became victims of a phone scam, losing approximately €2,000. It all started when her brother received a call from an unknown person pretending to be his accountant, as Marialena explained in a TikTok video. The supposed accountant informed him about a tax refund from EFKA and requested that Marialena transfer the funds. Unsuspecting, both fell prey to the scam. Marialena urged her followers to be cautious and not trust strangers asking for money over the phone, emphasizing vigilance against such scams. ‘Don’t easily trust anyone and always double-check,’ she warned.
