In an interview on SKAI’s ‘Prime Time,’ she recounted the loss of her daughter with heart-wrenching words. She highlighted Martha’s vibrant personality, noting that she had a more intense adolescence than her brother, while sharing a special bond with her mother. Despite their differences, Maria emphasized her desire for Martha to succeed and be happy in life. Speaking about justice for her daughter’s death, Maria stated, “My child was murdered; the fight for her justice is paramount.” She added that although the pain will remain until her last breath, pursuing justice is a crucial part of her daily life. She also addressed being labeled a ‘burned-out diva,’ saying it was a title she never asked for but one she uses to honor her daughter’s memory.
