CORVERSE The post of Pleuritos “After 13 years full of struggles (about240 appearances with the coat of arms), sacrifices, countless hours of training and moments of pride for the coat of arms, the time has come to say goodbye to the National Team. It was a journey of life, a dream I lived with all my soul, giving every time my best self to honor my country. Some situations led me to this point, which makes goodbye even harder. 2024 was a year that had it all: joys, thrills, challenges, but many moments that tested my endurance. It was the year that made me feel more full than ever, with moments that I will remember forever – the good ones that filled my heart with pride, but also the hard ones that made me stronger. Through these challenges, I had the support and help of some special people I met on this course. I am deeply grateful to them, because they stood beside me during the difficult times, supported me and helped me keep fighting. They will always have a special place in my heart, because without them my journey would not be the same. This trip was never just mine. It was a collective effort, a dream that we had together with my teammates, coaches, my family and those who supported me all these years. I keep deep in my heart every experience, every struggle, every moment I wore this iconic coat of arms. This goodbye is not an end, but a new beginning. I thank those who were next to me from the heart on this unique route. I will always remember this beautiful course, which shaped me not only as an athlete, but also as a human.”
