Marc Poll: ND Leads by 12.8 Points – Freedom Party Gains Momentum

New Democracy continues to dominate the political landscape according to the Marc poll featured on ANT1’s main news bulletin. The biggest winner is the Freedom Party led by Zoe Konstantopoulou, which ranks second. According to the survey, the Freedom Party provides the most credible opposition while both PASOK and SYRIZA show declining support. Regarding the Tempi incident, 69.8% believe the government is trying to cover up the causes of the accident, whereas 25.1% think there’s no such intent. In voting intention estimates, New Democracy leads with 28.6%, followed by the Freedom Party at 16.2%, PASOK at 13.3%, and Greek Solution at 8.8%. SYRIZA has a percentage of 7.6%, KKE 7.5%, Movement for Democracy 3.5%, Voice of Reason 3.3%, and MERA25 and NIKI each have 3.2%. As for actual voting intentions, the percentages are as follows: ND 26.5%, Freedom Party 13.7%, PASOK 11.1%, Greek Solution 7.3%, SYRIZA 6.4%, KKE 6.3%, Movement for Democracy 2.8%, Voice of Reason 2.8%, MERA25 2.5%, NIKI 2.2%, Spartiates 1.1%, and New Left 1%. Citizens view Zoe Konstantopoulou and the Freedom Party as providing the most substantial opposition with 19.9%, followed by PASOK at 14.5%, Greek Solution at 8.9%, KKE at 6.4%, and SYRIZA at 5%. In terms of the preferred prime minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis leads with 30.2%, followed by Zoe Konstantopoulou at 13.8%, Kyriakos Velopoulos at 6.9%, Nikos Androulakis at 6.3%, Sokrates Famellos at 4%, Dimitris Koutsoumbas at 3.5%, Stefanos Kassellakis at 3%, and Aphrodite Latinopoulou at 2.7%. Concerning the reshuffle and whether it will improve government functionality, 60.8% say no or probably not, while 30.3% say yes or probably yes.
