Man Assaults Woman in Public, Journalist Calls Police

A disturbing incident occurred in Kolchikou Square in Thessaloniki, where a man in an apparent state of agitation attacked a woman, all while being captured on camera and in front of passersby. As shown in the video by Star, a journalist called the police, but even then, the man continued to shout uncontrollably in the square. Anyone who tried to stop him was met with further aggression. At one point, he threw water at the woman and even lifted her off the ground! Eventually, before the police arrived, after injuring two bystanders and dousing the woman with water, the perpetrator entered his car and fled the scene. The ELAS (Special Guard Unit) is now actively searching for him.
