Man Arrested in Kilkis for Transporting 21 Kilos of Cannabis in Car Trunk

Police officers in Kilkis were astonished when they discovered a man driving with over 21 kilos of raw cannabis hidden in his car’s trunk. Specifically, officers from the Kilkis Department of Crime Pursuit and Investigation, working alongside colleagues from the Paeonia Border Guard, intercepted the man during routine checks. Upon inspection, two bags containing 20 packages of raw cannabis weighing a total of 21 kilos and 332 grams were seized from the vehicle’s luggage area. According to an official police announcement, the incident occurred yesterday. Beyond the arrest, the vehicle and a mobile phone found in the suspect’s possession were also confiscated. The arrested individual, facing charges drafted against him, was presented before the prosecutor of the First Instance Court in Kilkis, who subsequently referred the case to the examining magistrate, as noted in today’s police report.
