A major police operation by the Northern Greece Organized Crime Unit is underway since early this morning, Wednesday, March 11, 2026, across areas of Thessaloniki and Chalkidiki.
The operation aims to locate and arrest individuals suspected of involvement in criminal activities within Greece.
So far, authorities have conducted five residential searches, brought eight people in for questioning, and arrested one Turkish national wanted under a red notice for felony fraud.
Among those brought in are three Pakistani nationals, one Greek woman, one man from Iraq, and three Turkish citizens.
