The President of France, Emanuel Macron, stressed that his country is currently protecting the European Union envoy to Afghanistan and that it also provides protection to the Afghan partners of the European delegation in the country.
The Islamist militants will seek to take advantage of the chaos in Afghanistan, the French president said, adding that France will do everything in its power to ensure that the United States, Russia, and Europe responded with a common goal.
