Romanian runner Luka Drago Pop secured the first place at the 13th Athens Half Marathon, held today (09.03.2025) in the capital. He covered the distance in one hour, four minutes, and 49 seconds, leaving North Macedonia’s Dario Ivanovski in second place with a time of 1:05.19. Nikos Stamoulis finished third in the Athens Half Marathon, becoming the national champion with a time of 1:05.34. Following him were Panagiotis Karaiskos with a time of 1:06.14 and Giorgos Stamoulis with 1:06.21. Among the women, Anastasia Marinakou crossed the finish line first, completing the race in one hour, 14 minutes, and 16 seconds. The podium was completed by Bulgaria’s Marinela Nineva (1:14.45) and Eirini Tsouraki with a time of 1:17.27.
