“He gave me an immense gift, he didn’t leave me wondering how his final moments were. He passed away in my arms, and I was speaking to him tenderly,” said his wife, Lucilla Carre. In her first televised interview since the passing of legendary actor Mimis Plessa, granted at noon on Tuesday (25.03.2025) on the show ‘Studio 4,’ Lucilla Carre spoke about his death and the difficult times she experienced. For six months, she hadn’t spoken or gone anywhere, choosing silence as part of her grieving process. She mentioned that she only recently emerged from her seclusion after attending a tribute with Antonis Remos. Carre revealed it took her three months to come out of her lethargy. Although Mimis disliked black, she wears it because that’s how she feels. She emphasized that he hasn’t truly left, as she still senses him everywhere and continues to talk to him regularly at home. His peaceful departure was described as a great gift to her, allowing her closure without uncertainty.
