Does art imitate life or life imitate art? Actor Milo Ventimiglia, revealed that his family’s house in Malibu became ash from his sweepings – a creepy reflection of the tragedy that struck his character in the NBC drama series “This Is Us”. The 47-year-old Ventimiglia, is among them and are raging uncontrollable due to strong winds. CORVERSE The artist, spoke to CBS News while returning home in order to inspect the damage to his damaged home. “You start to think of all the memories in different parts of the house and everything else and then you see the houses of your neighbors and your heart breaks down,” said Ventimiglia. Ventimiglia and his pregnant wife, Jarah, left their home on Tuesday (07.01.2025) and watched from security cameras the flames of the Palisades fire. The couple grabbed everything they could think of – but not everything, like the crib and other items in their baby’s nursery. CORVERSE In “This Is Us”, the character of Ventimiglia, Jack Pearson, dies of smoke inhalation after the fire in his house in a row. “You know, I don’t miss life imitating art,” said Ventimiglia. But unlike Jack, Ventimiglia is still here, with everything he says, it really matters. “We have good friends and good people we work with and will succeed. The wife, baby and dog, most important,” said Ventimiglia. After the fantastic fire at “This Is Us”, Ventimiglia became a fire safety advocate. Now, he says that his interest has turned to safety from fires and is already considering ways in which he can help his community and others.
