Limassol: Dead old couple after fire in their home

Tragedy in Cyprus with a couple of elderly people losing his life after he broke out in a house Monday night (31.12.2024). Dead from the fire at home in Limassol is a 73-year-old man and his wife 780 years old. CORVERSE The fire occurred after 11 on Monday night (30.12.2024) at the couple’s house in Upper Warriors. Members of the Fire Service, who went to the scene for firefighting, managed to remove 73-year-old and 80-year-olds from the burning house. They were transferred to the Limassol General Hospital, where their deaths were found. From the house he managed to get out without having some burns the 19 – year – old domestic assistant of the couple. From the first investigations, it was found that the fire broke out of the living room of the house and expanded inside it. The causes of the fire are being investigated.
