A new attack was launched Saturday evening (March 22, 2025) by the Israeli army on the city of Tyre, resulting in one death and seven injuries. According to an updated report, the strike by Israel against Tyre has left one person dead and seven others injured, as announced by the Lebanese official news agency ANI. For the first time in months, Israeli warplanes reportedly struck the Lebanese city of Tyre following rocket fire from Lebanon earlier that day. Initially, ANI reported four injured individuals amid a fresh wave of Israeli attacks across southern and eastern Lebanon. France condemned the rocket launches against Israel while urging restraint. Meanwhile, France criticized the rocket launch against Israel originating from Lebanon, calling for Israel to exercise restraint after resuming its attacks in response to the rocket fire. The French Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized the importance of all parties adhering to the commitments made during the ceasefire agreement reached in November 2024 to avoid escalation that could have severe consequences for Lebanon, Israel, and the entire region.
