Lebanon: Hezbollah Headquarters Commander Dead Says Israel

Israel’s hammering continues in key Hezbollah positions in , while Israel’s army announced the armed forces still took out a high-ranking Hezbollah executive. It is Suhail Hussein Hussein Husseini, the commander of Hezbollah headquarters in a bombing in the region of Beirut, Israel’s army reported in an announcement. The IDF says the headquarters that Husseini commanded oversees Hezbollah headquarters and its unit budget. He was also a member of the Jihad Council of Hezbollah, the top military instrument of the terrorist group. “Huseini played a crucial role in arms transfers between Iran and Hezbollah and was responsible for distributing advanced weapons between Hezbollah units, overseeing both the transfer and distribution of these weapons,” says IDF. The military says he was “responsible for the budget and logistics of Hezbollah’s most sensitive works, including the organisation’s war plans and other special operations, such as coordinating terrorist attacks on the State of Israel by Lebanon and Syria.”
