Lebanon: 47 killed by new Israeli bombings in Bekaa Valley

At least 47 dead and 22 injured are the so far tragic account of the Israeli bombings of Thursday (21.11.2024) in the city of Balbec, Bekaa Valley, in its eastern part . As the governor of the Balbec region of Lebanon announced, in a post on the platform X (formerly Twitter), Bashir Hodr says rescue crews have rushed to the affected Israeli raid sites. Meanwhile, the Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that at least 25 people were killed and 121 injured by the Israeli blows of Wednesday (20.11.2024) in various areas of the country. Since the beginning of the Gaza Strip war, in October 2023, Israeli attacks in Lebanon have cost the lives of 3,583 people, while the wounded amount to 15,244, according to updated data from the country’s Ministry of Health. Due to hostilities between the Israeli army and Hezbollah members, more than 500,0000 displaced people crossed the border and fled to Syria.
