Recipients selected for the LAE-OPKEA benefits in 2024 have until May 30 to utilize their allowances, according to an announcement by the Ministry of Social Cohesion and Family. The programs under OPKEA for 2024 that are still active include:
– Social Tourism: Offers 6-day vacations (5 nights). Beneficiaries choosing accommodations in approved tourist facilities in municipalities such as Istiaia-Aidipsos and Mantoudi-Limni-Agias Annas in the Regional Unit of Evia, as well as in the Regional Unit of Evros, can enjoy up to 11 days (10 nights).
– Health Tourism: Includes 6-day vacations (5 nights) with five simple baths. Beneficiaries opting for destinations in the Regional Unit of Evros or islands in the Northern and Southern Aegean regions without breakfast provision can stay free of additional accommodation costs.
– Excursion Tourism: Offers four-day excursions through approved travel agencies. The free 4-day excursion applies if the cost does not exceed €160 per voucher. Accommodation must be in rooms rated two stars and above or rented rooms with three beds and above.
– Free Books: Beneficiaries may obtain books of their choice worth €20 each and books worth €30 for each eligible child from approved bookstores and publishing houses nationwide.
– Free Theater Tickets: Available for theater performances in all major cities across Greece.
