in

A shocking case of child abuse involving two siblings, aged 5 and 6, has sent shockwaves through Larissa. Investigations are ongoing as three individuals face charges. The mother, currently in custody, is set to defend herself today (21.05.2025). Charges have also been filed against the biological father following a complaint by the 32-year-old mother, and her partner, who remains at large despite an arrest warrant being issued. The partner, a taxi driver, has vanished, leaving his vehicle parked outside his home in the city center. Doctors at Larissa Hospital described horrifying injuries, including cigarette burns, widespread ecchymoses, and extensive skin damage across the children’s bodies. One doctor reported even more disturbing findings during an examination of the 5-year-old boy, noting black permanent marker stains covering nearly all of the child’s buttocks, genital area, and fingers. The biological father claims he hasn’t seen his children in seven months due to restrictions imposed by the ex-wife, though he plans to seek custody. Meanwhile, audio evidence reveals the mother’s fear of hospital staff discovering the children’s injuries, fearing legal consequences. Adding to the tragedy, it’s revealed that the mother lost custody of another child, now 8 years old, after he was hospitalized with starvation symptoms. The mother is scheduled to testify tomorrow morning, while the biological father will appear in court on Monday.
