Shocking revelations have emerged regarding the abuse of two children, aged 5 and 6, in Larissa, with developments turning catastrophic. Beyond being burned with cigarettes all over their bodies, the 32-year-old mother from Larissa is reported to have shown complete indifference towards them. Testimonies from Larissa are causing outrage. The mother is alleged to have frequently changed partners and engaged in intimate activities with men in the same room where her children slept. A friend of the accused revealed: “She would engage with other men in the house while the children were sleeping. In the bed next to where the children slept, she would do whatever she wanted with another person. Tragic. Whoever the man was, they called him ‘daddy.’” The mother was placed under preventive detention after her alibi failed to convince investigators and prosecutors. She is expected to be transferred to Korydallos prisons. Today, the 50-year-old partner of the mother, whom the children identified to child psychiatrists as the one burning them, is expected to testify. Through his lawyer, he denies the allegations. Meanwhile, the 32-year-old mother has pointed fingers at her estranged husband as the abuser, who is also expected to testify on Monday. “My husband held the cigarette in his right hand and continuously burned both me and the children. He burned my daughter’s hands and my son’s neck. For twenty minutes, he burned and beat us…,” she claimed. Both children will also be examined for possible sexual abuse after they drew pictures of their genitalia. Both the biological father and the 50-year-old taxi driver partner of their mother are under scrutiny. “The mark on my leg, it was made by G…, he blew the smoke on me and then extinguished it. He did all this to us, he kept hurting us,” said the five-year-old boy to the child psychiatrists. “Daddy hits me. The marks on my arm were made by daddy. Yes, see how they look…,” said the little girl.
