As relatives and friends said their final goodbyes to the unfortunate woman who was brutally murdered by her son with 25 knife wounds, he remained calm, having spent a peaceful night at the Larissa Security Detention Center. According to Star, the alleged perpetrator ate his meal normally, slept soundly, and woke up for breakfast in the morning. He is even housed in the same cell as a 35-year-old priest arrested for refusing an alcohol test. The priest repeatedly asked him to confess, but the matricide suspect refused to say anything. The only words he spoke when arrested by police were ‘sorry’ and that he is ‘not a bad person,’ explaining that due to alcohol and cannabis use, he lost control and stabbed her 25 times. Immediately after the murder, he casually walked his dog in a nearby park and chatted with a man and his grandson, leaving no indication of distress or stress.
