Larissa: 18-Year-Old Girl Dies After Double Cardiac Arrest at Gym

The 18-year-old girl who collapsed at a gym in Larissa last Thursday after suffering a double cardiac arrest has passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2025. She fought the biggest battle possible since her critical condition was first reported. The teenager was immediately transferred to the University Hospital of Larissa, where doctors described her health as extremely critical due to the rare and severe nature of her condition. She underwent brain surgery after experiencing an aneurysm and was later moved to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Despite medical efforts, the young woman remained with cerebral hemorrhage, which ultimately led to her death. Her funeral will be held on Wednesday morning in her hometown of Giannouli, Larissa.
