‘We had a quarrel last night,’ said the man who has been brought in as the main suspect for the murder of the 59-year-old businessman. So far, he has not made any kind of confession. The man, who was brought to the Lamia police station shortly before noon on Monday (23.6.25), revealed to the officers that 48 hours earlier, he had an argument with the businessman who was later found dead from the blows of his murderer inside his café on Othonos Street in Lamia. However, beyond this, he does not seem to have provided any information implicating himself in the criminal act. Nevertheless, the police, using footage from security cameras in the area prior to the discovery of the 59-year-old’s body, are now searching for the clothes and shoes of the man who killed the father of three children. For this reason, they have gone to the home of the suspect and are collecting his clothing to search for DNA evidence belonging to the 59-year-old victim. Additionally, from the shoes, they will examine footprints, as many prints were found in the bloodstains inside the café.
