A total of 408 companies were reported this year (2025) for failing to pay bonuses to 7,692 employees, according to an announcement by the Labor Inspection. Following intervention by the Labor Inspection, 190 of these companies complied, resulting in payments of owed Easter bonuses to 1,498 employees, totaling €459,827. In 27 cases, employees who approached local inspections had formal complaints filed, which were forwarded to police departments to initiate immediate legal proceedings. Additionally, fines amounting to €28,600 were imposed. In 118 cases, labor disputes have been scheduled, while 58 inspections are still ongoing.
