In a new TikTok video, Kyriakos Mitsotakis noted, ‘Where are we going? We’re on our way to Peristeri for DYPA’s 44th Career Day.’ Before visiting the exhibition center in Peristeri, the prime minister stopped by a café opened by a former unemployed woman through DYPA’s entrepreneurship program. ‘Over 230 companies are participating, offering more than 6,500 job positions from all sectors and for all levels of expertise and education,’ Mitsotakis mentioned. He highlighted the career days event and DYPA’s support program aimed at unemployed youth. The prime minister visited Angela and her brother Vasilis’s café, funded by DYPA. Angela, once unemployed, now owns her own café, has hired staff, and serves excellent coffee. During his visit, Mitsotakis praised the café as ‘amazing’ and emphasized DYPA’s role in supporting unemployed individuals, especially young women. Angela expressed her happiness with the venture, noting the positive feedback she has received. The prime minister concluded by recommending the café for its exceptional coffee.
