Kyriakos Mitsotakis Honors His Late Father on the Anniversary of His Passing

Today marks eight years since the passing of Konstantinos Mitsotakis, a former Prime Minister of Greece. Both his son, current Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, and his daughter, Dora Bakoyannis, have taken to social media to honor their father’s memory with heartfelt posts. Kyriakos Mitsotakis shared a photo of himself with his late father on Facebook, accompanied by the caption, ‘Always present. In my memory, in my thoughts, in my actions.’ Meanwhile, Dora Bakoyannis posted a beach photo of her father with his grandchildren, writing poignantly, ‘So much of what happens today, you were talking about back then.’ Konstantinos Mitsotakis served as Prime Minister from April 11, 1990, to October 13, 1993, and as President of New Democracy from September 1, 1984, to November 3, 1993. He passed away on May 29, 2017, at the age of 99.
