Kyriakos Mitsotakis Begins Regional Tours – Focusing on Citizens’ Daily Life

in

Today (April 22, 2025), Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis returned from Tinos, where he spent his Easter holidays, to launch a new round of visits starting Wednesday (April 23, 2025) at the Ministry of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection. This ministry is on high alert as the fire season officially begins on May 1st. Beyond visiting ministries, Mitsotakis will intensify his regional tours, aiming to reconnect with citizens and change the political climate. The goal is to communicate government initiatives supporting income and easing citizen burdens. With an eye on the next two years until national elections, reforms and initiatives are planned to ensure development benefits return to the people. The message from Maximos Mansion is clear: ‘The best is yet to come.’ Simultaneously, the government is tackling chronic issues causing public dissatisfaction, such as bureaucratic inefficiencies that frustrate citizens. Deputy Prime Minister Kostis Hatzidakis has tasked officials and MPs to document citizen grievances to strategically plan future steps. During Easter, ND MPs encountered complaints about tax accuracy and pensioners not receiving emergency aid. Some MPs are reportedly planning new parliamentary questions on major public concerns.
