On the morning of Friday, June 25, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis announced that home delivery of medicines by EOPYY will commence on June 16. “It is a significant and moving day. A year-long request for the obvious right to dignity and state care becomes a reality,” emphasized Mitsotakis during the presentation of EOPYY’s new service for home drug delivery. He noted that through systematic work, the government is now in a position to announce universal home medicine delivery starting June 16, achieved through collaboration with a certified company. The prime minister highlighted the importance of dignity and care, emphasizing that it is not dignified for a fellow citizen to wait hours in line at EOPYY. He thanked patient associations for their role as established interlocutors and expressed confidence in further advancements towards creating the new NHS.
