Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurtz expressed his satisfaction with the way the EU external borders were guarded by Greece.

Referring to the situation in Afghanistan and the possibility of a new wave of migration to Europe, he estimated that it will not be repeated what happened in 2015.

Sebastian Kurtz urged all the countries of the Western Balkans to contribute to the effort to prevent new migration flows, noting that they will have the support and assistance of the European Union.

The Austrian Chancellor expressed the view that those leaving Afghanistan should be hosted in neighboring countries.
