KTCH-1435 Wireless Speaker Withdrawn from Greek Market

The KTCH-1435 wireless speaker, manufactured by MAIBAOBAO, is being withdrawn from the Greek market following a decision by the Hellenic Telecommunications and Post Commission (EETT). The measure stems from test results conducted by Spain’s radio equipment market surveillance authority, SETELECO, which found the device non-compliant with EU Directive 2014/53/EU—specifically regarding (a) protection of human and animal health and safety, and (b) efficient use of the radio spectrum and prevention of harmful interference. As no objections were raised by the European Commission or other EU member states within the stipulated three-month period, the withdrawal is now formally enforced in Greece. All economic operators distributing this product in Greece must immediately withdraw it and notify the EETT.
