Dimitris Koufontinas submitted a request for release from prison

Dimitris Koufontinas submitted an official request for release from prison and now this will be forwarded to the Judicial Council and the Council of Misdemeanor Cases of Lamia which will judge it in the near future.

Dimitris Koufontinas is the first to submit a request for release from prison. On September 5, he completes 19 years in prison and can initiate proceedings.

“Lucas” of 17N was sentenced by the five-member Athens Criminal Court of Appeals to 11 life sentences and 25 years in prison for 11 murders, attempted murder, formation and membership in a criminal organization, distinguished possession of weapons and supply and possession of explosives.
