Wild broke out during a celebration on Saturday night (21.9. 24) resulting in two city deputy mayors and a 16-year-old injured. The fight broke out for unknown cause so far and during the conflict, strangers removed from one deputy mayor the chain with a gold cross he wore on his neck. The 16-year-old who carries punch injuries to the face was taken by EKAB ambulance to the Attic hospital, while the two other wounded were provided with first aid. Also, a 40-year-old was transferred to the same hospital after a fainting episode she suffered. What Deputy Mayor Korydallus says in newssit.gr “I left hospital two hours ago. I suck, they hit me in the arm, I ate all the chairs and they hit me with the tables. It all started when I was sitting there I noticed that some people were arguing with each other there at the party we had,” Deputy Mayor Korydallou Lambis Tsirakidis points out in the news. “As it was natural that the people of the municipality went to see what was going on and separate them. As soon as they saw me approaching and suddenly they were all coming up to me and the other deputy mayor. At that moment they started throwing tables and chairs at me,” he points out. “I couldn’t see how many people were hitting me because I had put my hand in front and only ate wood. The other deputy mayor is better, he ate only one table on the head and opened the spot all behind his ear and filled with blood, but it’s better now. I have a fracture in my left hand, my back is in the bruises and I had high heartbeats so he had to see me and a cardiologist,” he says. Reportage: Dimitris Popotas, Aria Kalyva, Ephi Fanara
