Konstantina Michail: ‘I’ve Experienced Age Shaming’

Konstantina Michail spoke about age shaming and negative comments she has received on social media. The renowned actress gave an interview to the show “Pame Danae” with Danae Barka during the Monday noon broadcast (10.02.2025). She revealed that she has faced age-related discrimination online and discussed her relationship with men. “Since I was young, I have been closer to women because I had a strict father who was a man of old-school masculinity,” Michail began. She added, “I have many interests; I’ve found joy in reasoning which helps me discover my means concerning what psychoanalysts have taught us. I was never much into love and attachment, I was more into adventure. (…) I am a spinster from the pandemic era. There have been moments when I had to compromise.” She then disclosed, “I’ve experienced age shaming; I’ve woken up in the middle of the night to delete a comment on Facebook. Men respect me on Instagram; the ‘curious’ ones are women. I posted a photo wearing a swimsuit, websites covered it, and there were comments pointing out that I am 57 years old.”
