Kikilias: We are building an NHS anthropocentric and effective

The health crisis, this unprecedented pandemic, has brought to the fore a truth based on three assumptions, stresses in an article in the newspaper “Parapolitan”, the Minister of Health Vasilis Kikilias.” The Truth: Above all Health. Really simple, but not at all simplistic.
Assumption one: Without Health there is no economy.Admission second: The National Health System proves to be the protagonist of the smooth functioning of the State.
Premise three: It is time to look again at the value of the social state, through areas such as Health, Education, Welfare, through policies that create a safety net for our weakest fellow citizens, for those who cannot and do not.”
The health crisis, he says at some point, will be over. Its consequences, however, are present here.
“That’s why we’re building the 21st century S.H.I.E.L.D.; an E.S.Y. anthropocentric and effective. Putting “the patient first” by supporting our health care, protecting the value of human life.”
The minister also stresses: “In 2021 we are turning the health advantage into a national acquis. A country without a strong health system is not a state and cannot meet the challenges of the times.
And it’s a common assumption that the National Health System has been strengthened as never before.”
It concludes that “after we are done – and the time horizon of the end is not far away – we will take stock. Cool, logical and complete. For now, all I care about is saving one more life, every life. That’s all.
Greece was never saved by the many words. He was saved, and will be saved once again, by brave decisions and great deeds.”
