Kifisos: 15 km Traffic Jam Towards Piraeus Due to Two Accidents

Chaos reigns today (12.05.2025) as kilometers-long queues of immobilized vehicles have formed due to significant traffic issues on the Kifisos highway towards Piraeus. Major problems are being observed along the Kifisos route, particularly near the Iera Odos intersection. Reports indicate that the first accident occurred shortly after 10:00 a.m., when a truck collided with a car in the left lane, causing a massive traffic jam across the entire highway. The second accident happened near Nea Philadelphia. So far, there are no reports of injuries. Drivers intending to descend via Kifisos should prepare for significant delays, as the congestion stretches from Kifisia all the way to Aigaleo, forming a 15-kilometer-long queue.
