Kefismos: “No immediate danger” from underground waters – Inter-ministerial meeting with EYDAP and Kardalia

The issue with the lagooning groundwaters that Kefisos has, raising fears of stagnation, occupied a wide meeting on Thursday (09.01.2025) with the participation of competent ministers and regional governor of Attica, Nikos Chardalias. Kifisos took part in the working meeting of the underground waters of Kifisos, the Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, Christos Staikouras, the Deputy Minister, Nikos Tahias, the Regional Governor of Attica, Nikos Kardalias and the Administration of EYDAP. CORVERSE According to information, at the working meeting it was found by all parties involved that there is no direct risk to the road work of Kifisos. Moreover, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport and the Region of Attica agreed to cooperate in dealing with any signs of damage. As has become known, more announcements are expected to be made shortly by the Region, which also includes the relevant responsibility for project maintenance.
