In about two months, Katerina Stefanidi will become a mother as she sails through the third trimester of her pregnancy. The Olympic gold medalist in pole vault is expecting her first child with Mitchell Kreher. In an extensive post on her personal Instagram account, Stefanidi shared the changes she has experienced during the last three months. View her post here. ‘We have officially entered the third trimester. Training is starting to change slightly, and I imagine it will change even more in the coming months. Contrary to what I’ve heard and read, my diet has stabilized compared to previous months without excessive quantities or quality changes. Symptoms have multiplied, many of which I was unaware of despite reading numerous books. Why don’t more women talk about these? I feel like time is flying by, yet simultaneously, it feels like I’ve been pregnant for two years. Lastly, every piece of advice is welcome, but it should be actual advice. Comments like “sit down and see” do not help any expectant mother,’ wrote Katerina Stefanidi.
