As the current TV season wraps up, networks are already reshuffling their decks, preparing for a fiercely competitive next season. With shows ending and presenters seeking summer breaks, behind-the-scenes changes are happening at lightning speed. The Greek television landscape is currently boiling with anticipation over what’s to come.

One of the most significant developments was the end of an era for ANT1’s longest-running daily news show, *Kalimera Ellada*, created by veteran journalist Giorgos Papadakis. Although the show has concluded, Papadakis will continue to play a key role in major news stories, maintaining his influence despite a reduced on-screen presence.

Meanwhile, ERT is set to air a historical drama series titled *Eleftherios Venizelos: The Life of a Leader*. Budgeted at over €1.2 million and consisting of ten episodes, it aims to honor one of Greece’s most iconic political figures.

Back on the entertainment front, the popular soap opera *Soy Mas* is gearing up for production in late August, readying itself for a fall return despite internal tensions within the ALPHA network. In other programming news, STAR has confirmed that Petros Polychronidis will host both *Club tou 1%* and *Trochos tis Tychis*, consolidating his position as one of the channel’s most trusted faces.

Elsewhere, singer Elli Kokkinou has started filming for the game show *Don’t Forget the Lyrics* (Greek title: *Den Eho Logia*), which is expected to debut early next season after intensive recording sessions due to her performance schedule.

Several surprises are reportedly still in the works across different networks, with some projects entering final signing stages imminently. It’s clear that Greek television is not resting this summer — instead, it’s setting the stage for a thrilling new season.
