A 17-year-old minor surrendered voluntarily at the Attica General Police Directorate (GADA) in Athens, accompanied by his lawyer, in connection with a fatal brawl in Kallithea that left a 15-year-old boy dead.

Voluntary Surrender Amid Ongoing Investigation

According to authorities, the teenager was part of the group associated with the alleged perpetrator. Evidence—including one of his shoes—was found at the scene of the incident in Kallithea. Before police could formally identify him as part of the suspect group, he chose to turn himself in.

Lawyer’s Statement Emphasizes Cooperation and Non-Involvement

His attorney, Evangelos Trimpetaris, stated: “My client voluntarily appeared before the Attica General Police Directorate, specifically before the Department for Combating Fan Violence, to place himself at the disposal of the competent authorities and affirm his full willingness to cooperate whenever required. It is important to stress that my client had absolutely no involvement in the incident under investigation—and certainly none in the fatal injury sustained by the young victim. His voluntary appearance underscores his intent to assist the investigation—not evade scrutiny.”
