Kaizen Gaming—one of the world’s largest GameTech companies—has completed the first cycle of its 2026 international volunteering initiative, The Collective. The program mobilized hundreds of employees across Europe and Latin America to support social and environmental initiatives with measurable impact.
A Global Effort with Local Impact
From reforesting areas in Greece and protecting biodiversity in Malta to recycling drives in Brazil and reforestation efforts in Colombia, The Collective continues to strengthen on-the-ground actions that benefit both communities and ecosystems. In total, 237 Kaizen Gaming employees participated in 10 volunteer activities across nine countries—contributing nearly 1,000 hours of service.
In partnership with 11 non-governmental organizations (NGOs), volunteers focused on environmental sustainability, biodiversity conservation, and animal welfare. During the first quarter of 2026 alone, Kaizen Gaming donated €80,000 to partner organizations—directly supporting more than 24,000 people and 350 animals worldwide.
Volunteer Actions Across Greece
In Athens, in collaboration with the Forestry Association of Athens, volunteers restored 220 meters of forest trail on Mount Hymettus—improving accessibility while enhancing the area’s resilience against erosion and wildfire risk. Working alongside ANIMA Wildlife Rescue Center, Kaizeners supported animal care and facility maintenance, upgrading living conditions for over 80 rescued animals—including birds of prey and turtles—through cleaning and renovation of nine enclosures.
In Thessaloniki, The Collective partnered with MAMAGEA to maintain the Neopolis Food Forest. Volunteers cared for more than 700 trees and plants and created over 500 seed balls—set to be used in reforestation and ecological restoration projects in degraded areas.
International Reach
Similar initiatives took place in Romania, Malta, Portugal, Bulgaria, Germany, Brazil, Colombia, and Argentina—centered on environmental protection, biodiversity enhancement, recycling, support for vulnerable social groups, and care for rescued animals.
A Statement from Leadership
Ioanna Koziadina, Senior Manager of Corporate Responsibility at Kaizen Gaming, said: “With every new cycle, The Collective proves that organized volunteering can drive real, measurable change. Whether restoring natural ecosystems, caring for wildlife, running recycling programs, or empowering communities, these initiatives demonstrate how purpose-driven volunteerism leaves a tangible, meaningful footprint.”
