Joe Biden Breaks His Silence: ‘Cancer Touches All of Us’ – The Emotional Post

More as a thank-you and a realization that no one is immune to cancer, former U.S. President Joe Biden broke his silence with an open post about the health issue he’s facing. He has been diagnosed with aggressive prostate cancer. In his post on X (formerly Twitter), accompanied by a selfie with his wife, Biden wrote: ‘Cancer touches us all. Like so many of you, Jill and I have learned that we are strongest in the broken places. Thank you for lifting us up with love and support.’ The official announcement from Biden’s office detailed his condition, revealing that last week, the former president was examined for a new finding of a lump in his prostate due to increasing symptoms and difficulty urinating. On Friday, he was diagnosed with Gleason score 9 (Grade Group 5) prostate cancer with bone metastasis. Although it’s an aggressive form of the disease, the cancer appears hormone-sensitive, allowing for effective treatment options. Biden and his family are now reviewing treatment options with his doctors.
