American basketball star Jessica Shepard is set to continue her illustrious career in the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) after departing from Greek team Athinaios. The 28-year-old standout player left a remarkable impression during her time in Greece, where she was named MVP of the A1 Women’s league. Under her leadership, Athinaios reached the finals but ultimately fell to Olympiacos with a 3-1 series loss, securing second place. Her impressive performances have led her back to the WNBA, where she will don the jersey for the Minnesota Lynx in the upcoming season. Shepard previously played for the Lynx for four seasons. She arrived in Greece this past summer, having previously competed for Venice.
