Japan has withdrawn a batch of Moderna vaccines following the detection of black particles

Japan has withdrawn a batch of Moderna vaccines after a foreign substance was found in a vial.

It is worth noting that about 3.790 people were vaccinated with doses of this batch, which was withdrawn for control by the local distributor.

This comes less than a week after Japan withdrew about 1.63 million doses of the Moderna vaccine due to infection.

The pharmacist detected the black particles during the test for foreign substances before using this vaccine.

For its part, the vaccine distributor in Japan has collected the vial suspected of being infected, and according to local media reports, there is no evidence yet of any health risks posed by the potentially infected vaccine.
