Japan’s government is preparing a $3.3 billion grant to the , amounting to 6% of the $50 billion package recently promised by G7, broadcasts today (17.7.2024) the Kyodo news agency citing diplomatic sources. The money for granting a loan to Ukraine will be drawn from Russia’s interest on resources and capital frozen, according to the same sources. The loan will be granted by the US (20 billion), the EU (also 20 billion), Japan, Britain, and Canada (a total of 10 billion).
