Italy: Teachers who have not been vaccinated against coronavirus will be suspended

Those educators and administrators who have not been vaccinated against coronavirus will be temporarily suspended without pay, according to Italian Education Minister Patricio Bianchi.

The Italian Minister of Education referred to the rules approved by the government of Mario Draghi, for the return of administrators, teachers, teachers, and students to school halls.

“Those administrators, teachers, and educators who have not been vaccinated and do not have a green card will be temporarily suspended from their duties, without payment of salary. “After the fifth day of unjustified absence, he will be called an associate professor.”

As for any teachers with proven health problems, they will be able to enter the school complexes, doing a free diagnostic test, every three days.

For the rest of the employees and teachers who have not been vaccinated, if they want to continue working they will have to take the test every 72 hours, at their own expense.

The goal of the Draghi government is to be able to start the school year normally, without the children returning to distance learning.

Finally, the competent minister stressed that the students will not be asked for a green card, but that the Italian government trusts them, and the calls for vaccination have received a positive response.
