Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has once again clarified that Italy will not send troops to Ukraine. “The deployment of Italian forces to Ukraine is not planned,” stated a brief announcement from the Italian government under Giorgia Meloni, issued after today’s teleconference of the ‘coalition of willing countries’ organized by UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak. It was also emphasized that “the Italian Prime Minister intends to continue cooperating with European and Western allies, as well as the United States, to establish credible and effective security guarantees.”
