Details have emerged about Israel’s plan to escalate the conflict in the Gaza Strip, as decided by Israel’s National Security Council. The plan involves the seizure of Gaza’s land while simultaneously promoting the ‘voluntary evacuation’ of its residents, according to an Israeli source. The source noted that the plan includes taking control of the Gaza Strip’s land. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated during a recent meeting that they would continue to promote the Trump peace plan aimed at facilitating the voluntary departure of Gaza’s residents. He added that negotiations on the matter are ongoing. Additionally, the ministerial council approved the possibility of distributing humanitarian aid if necessary to prevent Hamas from controlling supplies. The same source clarified that members of the ministerial council believe there is currently enough food in Gaza. However, humanitarian organizations emphasize severe shortages in the Gaza Strip due to the war that began on October 7, 2023. Since February 2, Israel has banned humanitarian aid from entering the area.
