Israel: ‘We Eliminated an Iranian Terrorist with a Drone Strike in Lebanon’ – The Moment of the Attack

Specifically, Israel announced today (July 3, 2025) that a drone carried out a precision strike in southern Beirut, resulting in the death of a man working on behalf of Iran. According to reports from Lebanon’s Ani news agency, the Israeli drone strike destroyed a car on the Khalde highway heading toward Beirut, with footage of the attack shared on social media. The Israeli military stated in a press release that it had ‘eliminated a terrorist responsible for smuggling weapons and preparing attacks’ on behalf of Iran’s Quds Force. The Quds Force is the branch of the Revolutionary Guards responsible for overseas operations.
