Israel has raised its alert levels across the country, allowing only so-called ‘essential’ activities following the U.S. attack on Iran, according to a military announcement. “With the approval of Israel’s Defense Minister, Israel Katz, and after assessing the situation, it was decided that starting today (June 22, 2025) at 03:45 AM (local time and Greek time), all areas of the country will move from the level of ‘partial’ or ‘limited activity’ to that of ‘essential activity,’” which includes “a ban on educational activities, gatherings, and work in places outside essential sectors,” as stated in the announcement.
